Bcn House School is a registered brand of Kind of Amazing S.L, a company incorporated in Spain. CIF. B09810276. The Company is addressed at Carrer Comte Borrell 94, 08015 Barcelona and is legally registered in the Companies Register of Barcelona, volume 48193, folio 65, page 575401.

1.- Agreement

1.1 This Agreement is legally binding once the School has received a registration form completed by the student. If the enrolment is made by telephone or social network (@spanishlessonswithus /@bcnhouseschool), the Agreement is binding once the registration details have been taken by the School and the payment has been received (advance payment or full payment).

1.2 The Spanish Law will be applied to this Agreement.

2.- School Accountability

2.1 The School is not legally responsible for any actions of the students.

2.2 The School cannot assume responsibility of interruptions of the courses due to forces beyond our reach such as natural disasters, strikes, civil disorders, etc.) Missed lessons resulting from these aforementioned causes will not be rescheduled or reimbursed.

2.3 Complaints related to this Agreement or the School course must be reported immediately to the secretary of the School. If the student does not communicate with the School within a reasonable time, the School does not assume any responsibility.

2.4 The School is not responsible for any printing errors or any typos from third-party publications. Even though the School goes to great lengths to guarantee that all the information contained in our literature and websites to be precise, the School does not assume responsibility for errors or omissions of printing / translation.

2.5 The School will be responsible for the poor internet connection of the teachers giving the option to reschedule the lesson.

3.- Student Behavioural Expectations and Responsibilities

3.1 Every student must notify the School in case of absence and they are all obliged to respect other students, teachers and staff. Illegal use of drugs, alcohol or any inconsiderate or offensive behavior will be regarded as unacceptable. The School reserves the right to cancel a course and dismiss a student without any reimbursement if it is discovered that the student is in violation of the School standards of behavior.

3.2 Sick days, accidents, lost or poor internet connection of the student are not justified and lessons will not be rescheduled. If the students find themselves in any of the aforementioned situations, they must contact the secretary of the School in order to pause the course if necessary.

3.3 Students must not make any comment or show, share or distribute any content that violates the rights of the students or teachers. It is forbidden any obscene pornographic content as well as any insult or threat. Racist, anti-Semite, homophobic, transphobic comments and any other comment that infringe upon dignity of third parties are absolutely forbidden. Were this to occur, the teacher can dismiss the student from the lesson and the School can cancel the course of the student without any reimbursement.

3.4 The School is not responsible for the disruption or malfunctioning of the internet connection of the students.

4.-Payment

4.1 The student must do the payment of the contracted weeks of the course before commencing the lessons.

4.2 The School reserves the right to cancel the enrolment of the student for non-payment.

4.3 The total cost consists of the cost of the course and any other service or additional fee.

4.4 The student will not have access to the class before the School had received the full payment.

4.5 The School is not responsible for the bank charges of the students.

4.6 If the student makes a payment in a currency other than euros, an additional charge might be applied to cover exchange rate loss. Costs must be borne by the student.

4.7 Once the payment has been completed, the student will receive confirmation of the course that has been paid.

5.- Minimum age and documentation

5.1 The minimum age to attend the lessons of Bcn House School is 18 years old. For certain courses and under certain circumstances, exceptions might be made. In case of a minor making a reservation this must be confirmed by an adult.

5.2 Students must register in the School with a valid identity card, address and personal data in order to be accepted.

6.-Late arrival or absence

6.1 When a student begins a course after the determined start date, whether or not being justified, (including sickness, personal reasons, etc.) there will be no reimbursement or compensation for a free extension of the course.

6.2 Missed lessons due to the absence of the student cannot be rescheduled.

6.3 In case of absence during the course, the following rules are applied: - The School has the right to deny the certificate to the student. The School will only provide scholar certificates to the students who have attended at least 80% of the lessons. - The School has the right to reassign a student to another group that adapts better to the level of the student.

7.- Our courses

7.1 The School can change the structure of a course and its schedule when necessary.

7.2 During national festivities (Spain) there will not be class and those aforementioned days will not be rescheduled or reimbursed. Private lessons on festivities will be rescheduled.

7.3 The minimum number of participants to confirm a group of regular courses must be 3 and a maximum of 8. In the Conversation Club the minimum will be 3 with a maximum of 6.

7.4 The School reserves the right to not open a group if the minimum of participants is not enough.

7.5 Depending on the number of students and the availability of the teachers, the School reserves the right to determine the timetable of the lessons.

7.6 A lesson is equivalent to 90 minutes for the Semi- Intensive courses. A lesson is equivalent to 120 minutes for the Extensive courses. A lesson is equivalent to 60 minutes for the Conversation Club. The duration of private lessons is agreed with the student.

7.7 Pass a level will only be determined by teachers and coordinators’ criteria.

7.8 Every student, with the exception of absolute beginners, must take a level test.

7.9 The School does not offer free trial lessons unless they are part of a special promotion.

7.10 The School reserves the right to modify the program of the classes for a better attention to the needs of the students.

7.11 Due to organisational reasons, the School can replace a teacher. All of our teachers have wide experience and offer a teaching-learning process of high quality.

7.12 The School reserves the right to not continue a course already started if there is not a minimum number of registered students (3).

7.13 The students cannot take photos, record videos or take screenshots of the classes without asking the teacher, the school or the rest of students for permission. If a student shares or distributes any recorded material from the lessons on social network, any other platform or / and advertising platform, the School may take legal actions.

7.14 Absences to classes will not be rescheduled or reimbursed, not even with presentation of a medical document. 7.15 The School provides certificates with the number of total hours of the course, date of start and the level achieved by the student. These certificates are not official or equivalent to DELE.

7.16 The cost of the certificate is included in the total cost of the course.

7.17 If a student does not attend 80% of the lessons, a certificate of assistance will not be provided.

7.18 Certificates are only made under petition. Students must request the certificate and it will be sent only by email.

8.- Changes made on the reservations by the student

8.1 The following rules apply to any modification made to the reservations of a course by the student prior to the start date. - The student must notify any change in a reservation to the school by an email (info@bcnhouseschool.com) or social networks (Instagram @Spanishlessonswithus / @bcnhouseschool) at least 7 days before these changes may be applied. Notifications received by other means will not be accepted. - The change requests of the reservations are subject to availability. 8.2 The following rules apply to any modification made to the reservations of a course once the course has started: - The student must notify any change in a reservation to the School by an email (info@bcnhouseschool.com) or social networks (Instagram @Spanishlessonswithus / @bcnhouseschool) at least 7 days before these changes may be applied. Notifications received by other means will not be accepted. - All requests for modifications received once the course has started may be subject to the school availability.

8.3 Modifications are valid only when they are confirmed by the School.

8.4 A reservation made to a course is assigned individually. Therefore, it cannot be transferred or reassigned to another student.

9-. Cancellations made by the student

9.1 Students who want to cancel their courses must notify it to the school by email (info@bcnhouseschool.com) or social network (Instagram @Spanishlessonswithus / @bcnhouseschool) Notifications received by other means will not be accepted. The date when the School receives the written notification will be considered as the cancellation date.

9.2 The student can cancel a course once it is fully paid but no reimbursement will be made. Instead, that payment will be kept for a future course or could be exchanged for another type of lessons and / or course.

9.3 Cancellations are not accepted once a course has started. No reimbursements will be made after the start of a course. Instead, that payment will be kept for a future course or could be exchanged for another type of lessons and / or course.

9.4 If the students cannot attend a lesson for being sick, they can contact the school to get information about the lesson in order to study at home. Unfortunately, the lesson cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed.

9.5 Private lessons can be cancelled and rescheduled with a minimum notice of 24 hours. If the cancellation of the class is notified within less than 24 hours the lesson will be charged anyway. If the student tries to reschedule a class within less than 24 hours the School will try to find the best solution. However, if it is not possible, the student will have to attend the lesson at the previously agreed time or the lesson will be charged anyway.

9.6 The duration of the lessons are determined by the student and the teacher.

9.7 Private lessons can have 1 person or up to 3 people in the case of semi-private ones.

9.8 The timetable and content of the lessons are flexible. The teacher will adapt the lessons responding to the requests of the student.

9.9 Absences without notification will be considered as cancellations. Therefore, they will be charged.

9.10 If the student is late for the lesson, the lost time will not be recovered. In case of delay of more than 30 minutes, the teacher will not be obliged to wait for the student and the lesson will be cancelled unless there is a prior notification by the student about the delay.

10. Virtual campus

10.1 Access to the virtual campus is a personalized service for the student that is included in the total cost of the courses. This right cannot be transferred to another person. The student is responsible for using the password and username confidentially. The student cannot share these data with other people.

10.2 Bcn House School is not obliged to keep a username, data or any other information that has been stored in the user account of the student once a course has finished.

10.3 The Access to the virtual campus or the website may be interrupted on an exceptional basis. This may happen due to different reasons such as the maintenance or improvement works in the website.

10.4 Once the course has finished, there will be no access to the virtual campus.
